After five years of intensive efforts, the North-South Mountain Greening Project has completed afforestation covering 919,800 mu (approximately 61,320 hectares). Recently, the project sites have been bustling with activity, as workers use hand-held sprinklers to water newly planted saplings in an orderly manner, while automated sprinkler systems send fine mist into the air to nourish the young trees.
